Warnings and Messages

You may find that you will get messages from Infinity because of business rules that have been created by your System Administrator. They will fall into three categories Warn, Prevent, Follow up. Business rules will run at Interview Confirmation, Submit CV and Placement Confirmation. See your system administrator for more details.

Warn

The system will warn you if you are about to break one of the business rules, you will still be able to override this but if you are unsure then contact your system administrator / database manager.

Prevent

The system will Prevent you from completing an action as you are breaking one of the business rules. The only way to stop this warning reoccurring is to read the details and do the required activity if you are unsure then contact your system administrator / database manager. In the example above you would need to add the essential attributes to the candidate record. (providing that the candidate holds that qualification or certificate).

Follow Up

A business rule can be setup with an automatic function when you complete a specific action. For example a business rule can be added so that when you change a candidate status to started, the database automatically creates follow up tasks for day 1, week 1 week 4 and week 12.
