Umbrella Companies Administration

An umbrella company is a company that acts as an employer for agency contractors who work under a fixed term contract assignment.  If a Candidate uses an umbrella company then the company details are entered in the Candidate Financial screen. 

The Umbrella Companies Administration stores the details of any umbrella companies that may be used within Infinity.

Add an Umbrella Company

   
  • Select and the New Umbrella Company screen will be displayed.
  • Complete the details for the company by selecting and click OK when completed.
  • Enter the Invoice and Financial information.
  • Enter the Bank details of the Umbrella Company. If the information is not completed then payments will not be made correctly.
  • Enter any associated notes.
  • Click to save.
  • Tick the Active check box to make the option available to users.

 

Editing an Umbrella Company

   
  • Select the Umbrella Company you wish to edit.
  • The details will be displayed.
  • Make the necessary changes.
  • Click to save.

 

Delete an Umbrella Company

We do not recommend deleting Umbrella Companies.  You will not be able to delete an Umbrella Company that has been assigned to Candidates.

An alternative option to deleting is to mark the Umbrella Company as inactive.

  • Remove the tick from the Active check box if you do not wish the Umbrella Company to be available to user
