Suppression List
When a candidate is deleted, they can optionally be put on the suppression list. Once candidates are on the suppression list, they cannot be added to Infinity again.
- A candidate is added to the Infinity database from LinkedIn
- The candidate then refuses consent
- If you attempt to download the candidate again from LinkedIn, you will be prevented from adding the candidate to the Infinity Database
- There is an option for users with permissions to remove a candidate from the suppression list if required (MaintainSuppressionList permission)
If you tick the ‘Add to suppression list under ‘right to be forgotten’’ tick box, the candidate will be added to the Suppression List when they are deleted
You can access the Suppression List from the Application Menu
- Candidates are ordered by date added, with the most recent at the top
- You can Find candidates in the grid
- You can Sort / Filter candidates in the grid
There is an option for users with permissions to remove a candidate from the suppression list if required (MaintainSuppressionList permission) (This will un-suppress the candidate)
The candidate is matched as being on the suppression list if one of the following fields match:
- Mobile
- LinkedIn Public URL
- XING Public URL
Matched Candidates are flagged in iCapture as being on the suppression list
If an iCapture candidates is suppressed, the Post buttons are greyed out, and a warning appears to tell the user that the candidate is suppressed
Changes in iCapture can be saved if the candidate is suppressed
The candidate is matched as being on the suppression list if one of the following fields match:
- Mobile
- LinkedIn Public URL
- XING Public URL
If you save a candidate in Infinity that is on the suppression list, the following warning appears:
Changes in Infinity cannot be saved if the candidate is suppressed
The candidate is matched as being on the suppression list if one of the following fields match:
- Mobile
- LinkedIn Public URL
- XING Public URL
If you save a candidate in iResearch that is on the suppression list, the following warning appears:
