PDF to Word

General

Infinity allows you to open PDF CV's in Word from within a candidate record. This ensures you are able to edit the CV, insert CV Builders and give you control of the CV. You must have Word 2013 or later for this function.

Enabling this function is done by each user from the user options:

When opening a PDF CV in a candidate record for the first time it will instigate a dialogue box from Word which will warn you:

Unfortunately this may be open behind any open windows / programs you have open. To access the dialogue box use Alt and Tab keys to cycle through all open programs to locate the dialogue box. Once selected it is highly recommended that you tick "Don't show this message again" to avoid having to do this in future.

Alternatively you can right click on a PDF stored outside of Infinity and Open With Word, when the dialogue box appears tick "Don't show this message again".

To enable the ability to insert CV Builders into the CV you should set the CV to .docx or .doc within the save options, this will complete the conversion of the PDF to a Word format.
