Attributes

Attribute can be put against candidates, contacts, companies or company locations.

NOTE - Attributes are a list of ‘things’ that a candidate may have. These are NOT job titles or qualifications and certificates; these are dealt with in their own right. Attributes could be a skill, industry or any other label that you would need to add to a candidate.

The candidate attributes are picked up from the CV although you are able to manually add as appropriate.

Use the Add button

You will be able to assign a single attribute by using the dropdown Attribute box or by typing directly into the box.

Alternatively you can use the Add Multiple button to tick appropriate attributes for that contact.  The list will be grouped by category for quick access to appropriate attributes.

The contact, company or company location attributes are manually added but all using the same technique. . It is important that you assign Attributes s to the correct entity within a Company record so that these can be utilised when searching, see example below regarding inferred skills:

If I add a skill to a contact and it’s already at Company Level it will not let me as it’s inferred the contact already has it.

Searching will work as follows:

Searching for Companies and entering Attribute of SQL

• Will return Companies with SQL
• Will return Companies with any location with Attribute SQL
• Will return Companies with any contact with Attribute of SQL

Searching for Locations and entering Attribute of SQL

• Will return Locations with Company with SQL
• Will return Locations with SQL
• Will return Locations with any contact with SQL

Searching for Contacts and entering Attribute of SQL

• Will return Contacts with Company with SQL
• Will return Contacts with Contact’s Location SQL
• Will return Contacts with SQLs

Go to the appropriate company record and click on the location or contact as appropriate, you will see the appropriate tab labels available, see screenshots below:
