Search Options

• Setting up of the TextSearch Web Service will take place during installation.
• If any changes are required after installation then we recommend that you contact Voyager Support for assistance.

General options include:

• Maximum number in Search Results
• Polling Frequency of Autosearch and Document indexing
• Types of files to index

The location of the indexes for each text search type is listed

This includes the ability to mark an index to be fully indexed via the tick box this will then run the index at the next run of the index service.

The location and details of the Mailbox indexes

You can make a single mail box searchable, for this to function you need to have Outlook setup on the same system as the location of the Infinity services.  You can select whether to include Inbox, Draft or Sent items to be indexed and therefore searchable.

Click on edit:

Input the exchange username into the Profile Name and the exchange password, you can adjust the path location for the Index, select the folder you wish to be indexed and searchable which generally would be the Inbox.

NB:- you will need to wait for the service to poll and for the index to complete before utilising this mail box searching

The location and details of the Folder Pool indexes

You can add a folder location that can be searchable (CV Text search only) allowing you to have an alternative to the CV Pool if desired.

Click on edit:

Input the path location of the folder into the Source Folder.
